On May 22, 2025, CARE Fund hosted its CARE Fund Grantee Convening. The evening brought together over 100 attendees for a unique opportunity to encourage collaboration with colleagues and other leaders in cancer research and share insights to foster learning, innovation, and partnership. CARE Fund was honored to recognize Dr. Fred Appelbaum and Dr. David Byrd as Honorary Co-Chairs for this year’s convening. Thank you to the evening’s speakers: Maura Little, CARE Board Vice Chair; Dr. Fred Appelbaum, inaugural CARE Board Chair; and Dr. Yaw Nyame, a CARE Fund Distinguished Researchers and Population Health Grantee, for their thoughtful and inspiring remarks.
